Maritime pine land use environmental impact evolution in the context of life cycle assessment

Abstract Between 2005 and 2015, the forest area occupied by maritime pine trees in Continental Portugal decreased about 10.6%, existing volume 18.4% mainly due to fires pests (e.g., nematode) that occurred during this period. The purpose of study was evolution land use environmental impact 1 m 3 pine, standing Portuguese forest, period using model Milà i Canals based on soil organic matter measured carbon. Results show category increased from 16,812 kg C deficit 18,423 2015. Land transformation roads is main contribution for representing 54% total value followed occupation as represents 40%.
